Angel Di Maria scored his third goal of the season as Paris St-Germain saw off Rennes to go 10 points clear at the top of Ligue 1.

The Argentine struck with 15 minutes remaining after Marco Verratti's superb through ball allowed Lucas Moura to deliver a telling cross from the left.

Laurent Blanc's side remain unbeaten this season, with 10 wins and two draws from their 12 matches so far.

Rennes remain seventh but are now without a win in seven games.

PSG's closest challengers Angers play on Sunday, away at eighth-placed Monaco.
